With more than 27-years-experience in the financial services industry, Jean enjoys working on solutions for clients. And she says the Waller & Wax Advisors’ client-focused value system helps her to really make a difference.

Jean heads the Waller & Wax Advisors’ service team and is primary point of contact for all areas of our Wealth Management process from retirement, insurance, college, and investment planning to tax and estate planning and settlement.

She is responsible for several stages of our client on-boarding: meeting with clients to ensure the smooth opening and transferring of accounts, sorting and reading all subsequent documents and mailings, understanding and using the beneficial features of the Raymond James Investor Access Online. Additionally, she is part of the discussion team on investments in client portfolios.

Before joining Waller & Wax Advisors in 2008, Jean ran her own financial planning practice for more than 10 years. During that time, she also trained new advisors in the areas of client service, financial planning and successful practice management. She has vast experience in client relations, as well as financial goal analysis, insurance planning, and retirement and estate planning.

Jean’s credentials include:

  • Life, Health & Variable Annuity license
  • Bachelor of Arts in English/Professional and Technical Writing

Jean attended Bridgewater State College, Bridgewater, Massachusetts, concentrating in English and secondary education and graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in English/Professional and Technical Writing.

Originally from Virginia, Jean has lived in New Jersey, Massachusetts, Hawaii, and Texas before setting down roots in Tampa in 1985. She is involved with Stride for Strays, a fundraising event for the Animal Coalition of Tampa. In her spare time, Jean is renovating and remodeling two of her homes and xeriscaping her yard, emphasizing plants to attract bees, butterflies and birds.
